Primary routes of entry:  Inhalation and Skin absorption.

 

SIGN & SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:  Irritating to skin, eyes and all parts of respiratory tract.

 

EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURE:

Eye contact:          Flush promptly with large amounts of water for 15 minutes, seek

                              medical attention immediately.

Skin contact:         Wash thoroughly with soap and water.  Remove contaminated clothing

                              and seek medical attention.            

Inhalation:             Remove victim to a well ventilated area.  Use oxygen or artificial

                              respiration as required.  Seek medical attention immediately.

INGESTION:       DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If victim is conscious and alert give two           glasses of water. Seek medical attention.

Section 6:         Control and Protective Measures

Respiratory:            Chemical respirator with self-contained air supply is required when concentration  of vapor exceed the established exposure limits.

Gloves:                   Plastic or rubber chemical resistant gloves are required.

Eye protection:       Safety goggles are recommended.

Ventilation:             Any combination of local and general ventilation, to draw fumes away from

                              workers.

Other measures such as protective clothing, shoes, eye wash station and safety showers should be available.

IN CASE OF SPILL:    “FLOOR MAY BE SLIPPERY”
